Try a Reusable Glass Coffee Cup

IIn the U.S. alone, coffee drinkers throw away 50 billion coffee cups every year! The Zero Waste Store has a sustainable solution—a reusable glass coffee cup with a grab-band of natural cork upcycled from wine corks.

Share the Vision

What if we switched to renewable energy? What if rooftops welcomed the sun with solar panels? What if plentiful green spaces were filled with trees and pollinators and grew organic food for the community? What if oceans were clear of plastic? What if humans and all of nature were thriving, not merely surviving? Hold the vision, live the vision, share the vision.

–from The Washington Post

Don’t grocery shop hungry. Shopping hungry leads to impulse purchases, over-purchasing, getting indulgent items that you may not normally purchase and getting impatient (we all know how long those Trader Joe’s lines can be). Don’t take just my word for it ― there is science behind why shopping while hungry leads to these behaviors and ultimate purchases, all of which can lead to potential food waste.
