Our Board has agreed that we can begin to gather in person safely since we have been vaccinated!
We will gather on the Second Sundays of June, July, August and September, beginning with Sunday, June 13.
Fellowship at 10 am and Worship with communion at 10:30 am will be followed by potluck together!
We encourage you to attend as you feel most comfortable, with a mask and with distancing, if you prefer. Singing when fully vaccinated has been shown to be safe. Eating together is also safe for vaccinated people.
Our earlier congregational feedback indicated a preference for hybrid services, with both in-person and remote options available, but we are not yet certain on how that will unfold. Look for additional information on that as June 13 approaches.
As I look back on this past year I am grateful that we have been able to be gathered well in Jesus’ name via Zoom. I am also deeply grateful for all who have done so much to care for individuals and families, to protect ourselves and others with masks and distancing, and for all the scientists and others who have developed and distributed these vaccines so quickly. Let us continue to pray that vaccine production and distribution becomes a focused, world-wide effort and that we learn how to care for one another as a global people.
