The border is closed to asylum seekers, COVID-19 is spreading in immigrant detention facilities and migrants are stuck in camps south of the border. Immigration advocacy is more urgent now than ever, and you can do it from home!
We (Mennonite Central Committee or MCC) will help you schedule virtual advocacy meetings with the offices of your members of Congress during the week of July 27-31, calling for the United States to provide a safe refuge for asylum seekers. If you weren’t able to join our training webinar on July 14, listen to it here, and register to let us know you will be joining the advocacy week!
