May 28 Rally Day at Menno Haven

Anne Munley Announcements

It’s that time of year again – the trees are blooming, the pool is filled and it feels like summer weather. We look forward to having you join us Monday, May 28th for Rally Day 2018, Menno Haven’s annual open house when we are celebrating our 60th summer of ministry.

Rally Day is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and features a range of activities for all ages. You can try out the kayaks and paddle boats on Lake Menno Haven, go swimming, walk the trails, play lawn games and much more.

Rally Day will start with our 5k Trail Run/2k Walk to raise money for the Camper Scholarship Fund. We will meet at the Eagle Wing Activity Center to run, walk, volunteer or cheer on others. The race will begin at 9am and there will be shower facilities and snacks available afterwards for participants. The price of registration is $30 and included in that is a free t-shirt (t-shirt sizes are limited)! For more information, or to register, contact the office or visit

The summer dedication service will start at 11am at the Lakeview Lodge Patio. Meet the year round staff, IMCA board members and learn about this summer’s theme: “Kingdom Mysteries Revealed!”

This introduction will be followed by a commissioning of the 2018 Summer Staff for their service here, June through August.

At noon there will be a BBQ Chicken Potluck. Menno Haven will provide the chicken and drinks, please bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share, along with your own tableware.

Throughout the day, we will be hosting a silent dessert auction. If you, or someone you know, are a proficient baker and would like to donate a dessert to the auction, that would be greatly appreciated! All proceeds from the auction will go towards the camper scholarship fund.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the campus and facilities as we celebrate our 60 years of ministry!
