Menno Haven depends on, and greatly appreciates, the hard work of volunteers like you to keep the 231 acres of sanctuary looking great! On April 8, Menno Haven will have a work day–a time of fellowship, working, helping, and eating!
Typical schedule:
8:00am – light breakfast
8:25am – work projects begin
12:00pm – lunch
12:45pm – resume work projects
4:00pm – clean up
Possible spring projects:
- Chainsaw work
- Wood splitting
- Clean the cabins for summer
- Cleaning out the pool
- Stuffing and labeling a mailing
- Raking lawns of debris
Come prepared for the weather! Depending on which projects you plan to help with, we recommend bringing your own:
- work gloves
- eye and ear protection
- garden rakes
- chainsaws
