Connect with “Our” Refugee Family

Linda W News

This Sunday, January 7, the Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist congregation meeting at the Byron Colby Barn in Prairie Crossing, will highlight the refugee situation and add 1/2 of their offering to support our refugee service project.

Gloria Walsh, a very active volunteer in the Lake County Resettlement Group, will make a presentation and introduce “our” family. If any of you would like to meet them, please come: 1561 Jones Point Rd, Grayslake. The service starts at 9am and ends at 10:30; it is possible to just meet the family and go, or to stay for part or all of the service.

You are invited! This would be a good way to connect with another congregation and raise our visibility.
